Welcome to Nasi Pecel Mbak Ira, a vibrant culinary gem nestled in the heart of Depok, West Java. Located at Jl. Margonda No.526, Pondok Cina, this establishment is dedicated to serving authentically rich dishes that celebrate the flavors of Indonesian cuisine, particularly the beloved nasi pecel.
Upon stepping into Nasi Pecel Mbak Ira, one is immediately greeted by a modest yet inviting ambiance. The restaurant may not boast lavish decor, but its warm and inviting atmosphere is ideal for casual dining experiences. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a laid-back meal, this spot is perfect for a more relaxed outing.
The menu here offers a delightful range of options. Highlights include the nasi pecel ayam, where you can revel in the harmonious blend of warm rice, fresh vegetables, and scrumptious sambal pecel, all perfectly complemented by tender chicken. The vibrant freshness of the ingredients truly stands out, as noted by customers like Enzie and Eze, who were eager to explore the menu further after their initial experience.
However, some diners, like Giovanno Rachmat, mentioned that while the food was decent, expectations regarding portion size and pricing should be managed. The nasi pecel tends to lean towards the pricier side, which some patrons feel might not warrant the portion sizes offered. This point is echoed by Nanang H, who recommended opting for additional rice or other dishes like nasi pecel empal to enhance the meal experience.
What makes Nasi Pecel Mbak Ira truly stand out is its commitment to authenticity. The restaurant serves one of the best nasi pecel madiun dishes in the area, capturing the essence of traditional Indonesian flavors. For those with a penchant for spice, it provides a flavorful kick that elevates the overall dining experience.
As an added bonus, seasonal beverages like es blewah are available, particularly during Ramadan, offering a refreshing end to your meal. Just a reminder, you might consider requesting less sugar for those sweet options!
Nasi Pecel Mbak Ira is a delightful destination worth visiting, especially if you're a fan of traditional Indonesian fare. Just be mindful of peak hours, as parking can prove challenging along the busy Margonda street. The food was decent but IMO I was expecting the price to be cheaper. I ordered Nasi Urap + Empal and it costed me Rp 27,000, and the portion was not that big. The place was ok, but to me it is not for first dates; third or fourth probably, or at least once you get to know more about the person

Nasi pecel ayam is quite good. The rice, the sambal pecel and the chicken is warm. The vegetables is fresh. Definitely gonna try other menus some other times. The menus quite vary from nasi pecel to bakso.

One of the best authenthic nasi pecel madiun. A bit spicy and expensive though. And the rice portion is very small. You can order additional rice with peanut sauce. Best choice would be nasi pecel with empal or if you like egg just order nasi pecel with egg. There are too seasonal beverages here like es blewah that usually comes around ramadhan that is worth to try, although I suggest for ordering one with less sugar.

Trying nasi pecel telor asin n nasi pecel empal. The taste is good, but the portion is small comparing to the standard of serving portion. The meatball is just average. Location is easy to find but rather difficult to park especially when the traffic at margonda street is heavy.
